Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street.
— Lamentations 2:19

This verse was written when the adults did not seek the Lord in the year of 587 BC and it was the children who suffered. Once again our children suffer and need our prayers. While we sleep each night someone is being exploited for the benefit of someone else's pleasure. James 2:12 says "Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom." Christ came so we could be free. The law of Christ is stated in Galatians 6:2 "Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." There are those who are not free and we must carry their burden through prayer each night before we settle into a restful nights sleep.

For this is our TRUE MISSION Luke 4:18-19:

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor."
